Torridon, Beinn Eighe Traverse Grade 1
Beinn Eighe Winter Traverse
Scotland
Red, Route to hike
Blue, Bienn Eighe Traverse Grade 1
A hike I have done many times a great one and a memorable one, starting from the car park you have a little bit of a boggy walk, once past you will hit a rocky and then scree path, fairly steep in area and in winter it can feel like a gully climb. Once up you will hit a cairn going right you will see pinnacles instantly and a spectacular view. The pinnacle can be tricky in heavy ice but a lot of the fun they go all the way to the peak. Coming back you will pass the cairn again and head left more a low grade traverse it's still a spectaclular place to be skirting round to the second peak and back on yourself.
