A long and remote Affric–Kintail ridge circuit starting from the Cluanie Inn area, linking three major Munros across complex high ground. The route involves an initial estate track approach before a sustained climb into open hillside, followed by long ridge walking with repeated ascents and descents between summits. Navigation is demanding once on the higher ground, particularly between Sgùrr nan Ceathreamhnan and Mullach na Dheiragain, where terrain becomes broken and less defined. Route choice on return is flexible depending on conditions, with options to retrace or cut across shoulders to shorten distance.
