💧 Water sources: Yes – burns, streams, and corrie meltwater along the route
🚴 Bike & Hike: No
🏕️ Wild camp: Yes
🏊 Wild swim: Yes – lochans and burns in glens and corries (season dependent)

A long and remote high-level Cairngorms traverse linking four major Munros. This is sustained plateau walking with large boulder fields, long distances between summits, and minimal path definition in sections. Navigation can be demanding in poor visibility, especially between Cairn Toul and Braeriach. Typically undertaken as a full-day mountain traverse or a 2-day backpacking route with a wild camp in the corries.
