Participation in G I Guides veterans programme events is open to eligible veterans, serving members of the Armed Forces and eligible family members of veterans.
To ensure that events are provided to those for whom they are intended, G I Guides may request suitable evidence to confirm an individual’s eligibility. This information is used solely for the purpose of verifying eligibility to participate.
Any supporting documents, photographs or other evidence provided for verification are deleted once eligibility has been checked and are not retained by G I Guides.
If eligibility cannot be confirmed, the application will not be accepted for the veterans programme and the submitted information will be removed.
G I Guides only requests information necessary for the purpose of confirming eligibility and does not require unnecessary details about an individual’s military service.
